About 40 minutes by boat from Malapascua, Kimud Shoal — also called Monad Shoal — is where divers come for Daily Thresher Shark Dives at Monad Shoal. Thresher sharks arrive at dawn for cleaning by local fish at 15–40m. Pelagics like tuna, barracuda, and jacks are common. Calm seas, blue water, and excellent morning visibility.
